Meet the Artist: Alli Grosberg
I’ve been an artist for as long as I can remember—always drawn to creating beauty out of everyday things. Over the years, I’ve explored countless mediums, from jewelry, resin, silver smith and lost wax casting, to sewing, ceramics, and watercolour Art. But it wasn’t until a trip to Amsterdam that something truly unforgettable sparked my next chapter. Wandering through the city, I stumbled across their iconic flower bikes —vibrant, whimsical, and completely alive with colour and joy. They stopped me in my tracks. In that moment, I felt something shift. Those bikes weren’t just decorations—they were love and hope on wheels. They were a symbol of joy. Art that made people smile. That stayed with me.
So I decided to bring that feeling home. I began creating flower bikes for my own city—not just as public art, but as quiet love notes left on sidewalks. They’re an invitation to pause, to smile, and to remember that beauty can live in the middle of our everyday chaos. This is my way of giving back to the streets that raised me—with color, creativity, and a reminder that even a bike can bloom.
