New Spots you cannot miss in Bloor West Village this Winter!

January 17, 2026

January usually means tunnel vision. You’re bundled up like a burrito, power-walking with your head down, just trying to survive the cold between Point A and Point B. While everyone was recovering from holiday food comas, Bloor West Village was quietly becoming that neighborhood. We’re talking Toronto-first exclusives, your favorite coffee spots pulling a dinner plot twist, and enough wellness openings to justify all those “new year, new me” promises you made.

So here’s your insider’s guide to everything that’s new on our street.

1 – NOW OPEN!

Lyla's House interior Bloor West Village

🍕 ☕ Lyla’s House | 2196 Bloor St W
The beloved café-meets-boutique has officially opened its second home. It is a must-visit for the aesthetic alone. Think of it as the living room you wish you had, served alongside finger-licking food.

☕ Tim Hortons | 2402 Bloor St W
For all you early birds and caffeine-dependent souls, there’s a shiny new Tim Hortons at Armadale Ave. Your morning double-double run just got a whole lot easier.

🍳 Yolks | 2245 Bloor St W
Well, they chose Bloor West Village for their very first location in Toronto. They took over a massive new space and turned it into a bright, buzzing brunch. Famous for their “perfectly poached” eggs and truffle-lemon potatoes.

🌸 Fond Farewells Inc. (Arbor Memorial) | 2 Jane St #101
A thoughtful new presence on the street, here to support families during life’s toughest moments.

If your 2026 resolution is “taking better care of myself,” the street is ready to help you out.

💅 Aesthetico Beauty Studio | 2273 Bloor St W
Whether you need a fresh hairstyle, a manicure, professional makeup, or brow shaping, they do it all under one roof. It’s a full-service beauty destination.

🤸 b-Stretched | 2336A Bloor St W
They focus on Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST), which is different from a standard massage. It is assisted stretching on a table—using straps and traction—to open up joints and improve mobility. They also offer standard massage therapy and chiropractic care.

💆‍♀️ Bloor West Retreat | 2318A Bloor St W, 2nd Floor
Their main services are Registered Massage Therapy (RMT), acupuncture, and osteopathy. It is a good spot for therapeutic treatments if you are dealing with chronic pain or injury.

They take care of the essentials —cleanings, fillings, and check-ups—but also do cosmetic work like veneers and Invisalign. They are accepting patients of all ages, so you can book for yourself or your kids.

2 – The “Wait, When Did That Happen?”

You know them for the aesthetic brunch plates, but the kitchen is now pulling a double shift. They have officially launched a full dinner menu with music nights.

🍛 Bukhara Grill → Balti Indian Restaurant | 2241A Bloor St W
Bukhara Grill has officially become Balti Indian Restaurant. Same spot, fresh identity. They’ve expanded the menu to give you more options, but kept the warm, comforting vibe (and the curries) exactly how you remember them.

🏥 Eyes Up: The New St. Joe’s Banners
Next time you’re rushing down the street, tilt your head up for a second. You’ll spot the new St. Joseph’s Health Centre Foundation banners lining the poles overhead. It’s a subtle visual cue, but a sweet reminder of the community heart that beats right here in our backyard.
